Craig Erpelding, M.F.A.
Lecturer of Narrative Cinematic Production

Craig Erpelding is an award-winning Independent Filmmaker with projects screened at venues and festivals across 4 continents. Erpelding earned his MFA in Directing from DePaul University’s Digital Cinema Program in 2015, with prior educational experience at UCLA for Screenwriting and a B.A. of Journalism and Mass Communications at Kansas State University. While he has written and directed various short films and an independent television pilot, Erpelding has also worked for several network TV shows including FOX’s “Empire,” ABC’s “Mind Games,” and NBC’s “Crisis.”

Brenda Mills

Brenda Mills is a writer and editor with a background in marketing. Her calling is to support storytellers. Before she began working with nascent filmmakers at the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts in 2008, she ran FC2, a small, independent press that published experimental fiction.

Elric Kane

Elric Kane is an award- winning filmmaker who’s independent feature films Kissy Kissy and Murmurs have screened at several international film festivals. Over the last decade he has been making films in both New Zealand and USA as well as co-hosting the popular horror film podcast ’Shock Waves’ for Blumhouse productions as well as the cinema podcast “Pure Cinema’ for Quentin Tarantino’s New Beverly Cinema.

He is also a passionate film educator and is the Chair of Film + Digital Content of Studio School Los Angeles.

Dan De Filippo
Producer, Manager

Dan De Filippo, the founder of Pipeline Entertainment and OnSET Film School, started in the story department of the Los Angeles headquarters of Fireworks Pictures then went on to work with the Producers of MGM's $115M tent pole film WINDTALKERS. After working as a feature film lit coordinator at Genesis Literary Agency, he moved onto the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, spending a significant amount of time in WMA's New York Office as well. He struck out on his own in 2007 to form Pipeline Entertainment, Inc. and launched OnSET Film School in 2018.

Under the Pipeline banner he has produced myriad Feature Films, Television Shows, Documentaries, Commercials, Promos and Mini Series. He has won three Emmy Awards to date and continues to manage a roster of talented professionals with his management team at Pipeline. He recently wrote and produced a remake of Francis Ford Coppolla’s first feature film, DEMENTIA 13, for Universal Pictures. OnSET is a revolutionary and affordable alternative to typical overpriced film schools that stresses learning the business as well as creative side of the Entertainment Industry through hands on real world applicable experience.

George Mason University

Nikyatu Jusu, MFA

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia: Sierra Leonean-American Filmmaker Nikyatu's films have screened at festivals nationally and internationally. With a BA from Duke University and an MFA from NYU's Tisch Grad Film school, she's earned various awards including NYU’s Spike Lee Fellowship Award, the Princess Grace Narrative film grant and Director’s Guild of America Honorable Mentions.  Three of her shorts were acquired by and aired on HBO.

Her latest film Suicide By Sunlight: a project funded by THROUGH HER LENS sponsored by the Tribeca Film Institute and Chanel, made its debut at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and is currently touring the festival circuit. 

She is in development on the feature film version of Suicide By Sunlight. Nikyatu is a tenure track Assistant Professor in the Film & Video department at George Mason University where she teaches Screenwriting and Directing.
